At lunchtime, Con made his way to the headmaster’s office. “I’m here to see Mr Spalding,” he said, reporting to the secretary.
“He’s got someone in with him at the moment. He won’t be long. Just have a seat over there,” she replied.
He sat down on one of the chairs outside the office, leaning his head back against the wall. He stared at the coving on the ceiling. Mr Spalding was predictable with his punishments so Con was not afraid of the outcome.
It’ll be detention for sure.
He shifted in his seat waiting for whoever was in there to come out.
